Im in a bit of a difficult situation regarding references. If you want to put one you can use an employer, or someone (that isn't a friend) that has known you for 2 years. If you speak to the universities about your situation, they may allow you to not submit a reference, especially if your course is not competitive, or if you have to sit some kind of entrance examinations or interview prior to receiving an offer.
I didn't put a reference on my UCAS application, yet still got numerous unconditional offers. Can anyone please give me any advice in what I can do as I cant get past the reference bit. I have been in touch with the uni im looking to go to which has my course and they have spaces left for Sep 2013 but the closing date for entry is 30/6/13. I need help with regards to how I go about references that UCAS require to apply for any courses, my problem is im 32 years old and I have not had any kind of education since school so I don't have anyone who can give me an academic reference. Hi I have been giving a lot of thought into changing my career by going to Uni.
